1.Summary
Globalization refers to multi-dimensional, accelerated, and interconnectedness of space and time across borders. Especially in political globalization, globalization refers to postnational and transnational processes as well as the compression of space and time. One of the most prevalent forms of political globalization is the spread of democracy. The spread of democracy is not the end of ideology but the spread of ideology of many other kinds. Democratic states in many countries have created a very different kind of political culture.
Political communication is no longer limited to borders. I am talking about other international political order linked to the concept of global civil society. One of the characteristics of a global civil society is that it has a lot of space, not a single space. It means that everything is interconnected. Political globalization has four cases of social change, nationality and citizenship, public domain and political communication, civil society, and space and borders.
Political globalization has led to the separation of nationality and citizenship, ethnicity and national division. In that case, French voters rejected the European constitution, an example of transnational politics. While the debate over the issue of transnational space in the world's public domain continues, more importantly, the emergence of global public discourse. The public domain is now prevalent by what we call the global public. This is a global context for filtering communications, not for a particular public. It is currently attached to public areas and should be considered a globalistic dimension. The objective structure of the social world takes place in a broader context of global communication, where the world's masses play an important role. The global public has made a great contribution to all communication in that it constructs and contexts public discourse, such as various examples of human rights, environmental issues, health and security.
'Citizen socialization' of politics means the commonality of political forms, such as local, global, national, multinational, and sustainable social rights. Social socialization' also stemmed from national/social discrimination inspired by the 'unification transition,' the institutionalization of social and political divisions and the consequential change in connectivity between growing regions. What's important is that 'civilisation' has permeated international relations and has begun mobilizing activists in the international community. The world's civil society is not about the state. It can be said that the world's civil society is a combination of NGO-led political campaigns, border social movements, and a transnational support network for international reach and development.
Globalization thinks of a world without borders. Without the borders of political globalization, a world can be thought of as a global transformation focusing on the emergence of multiple interdependent levels. If we view globalization as a social change, it is a change in the nature of society, in the relationship between the state and citizens, and then we must rethink the nature and meaning of political space and borders. Simply put, rearranging politics as a result of globalization has led to a major reassessment of the role and meaning of borders and spaces in political construction. There has been a widespread awareness of the world's cities. Space is not simply a expectation of land but a component of social and political relationships. The border is not directly touching the territory and country, but being replaced throughout society.
2. Interesting point
I read this article and could see in depth how globalization is changing society. It was interesting that countries did not simply merge and disappear, but that various changes occurred.
3. Discussion point
When I think of world civil society, I think of only large institutions like the United Nations. I would like to say what other cases are.
What kind of other societies or nations exist in the Earth?
ReplyDeleteI think Vatican city is the one of the example.
