I think ‘Asian Union’ cannot work in Asia.
First of all, the economic gap between
countries is too big. Under these circumstances, if Asian nations break down
their borders and unite like Europe, they will be overwhelmed by problems such
as labor and illegal immigration from the standpoint of the economically
powerful countries in Asia such as China or Japan. In addition, if the currency
is unified like the 'euro' in the process of forming a union, the unemployment
rate and debt of each country should be revised to meet the standards, then it
can lead to large losses to some nations.
Also, the national power gap between
countries is huge. As the difference in national power in countries other than
Japan or China, it will be easy for the Asian Union to collapse as it is
difficult to check against nations with strong national power.
