Extra Blogging - How UN should reform in perspective of China

As China is a country that has jumped from developing country to advanced country in a short period of time, China suggest that UN should consider developing countries. Reforms should be made to strengthen the representation of developing countries. The purpose of the Security Council reform is to better fulfill the responsibility for maintaining international peace and security granted by the United Nations Charter. Priority should be given to address insufficient representatives of developing countries.
Therefore, the UN should understand developing countries more than any other organization and solve developing countries’ problems such as poverty, disease, and environmental problems. In particular, members of the UN, including permanent members of the Security Council, should solve the poverty faced by developing countries. Developing countries are unable to get out of their poverty because of their huge debts, so other member states must work together to save developing countries from poverty.
In sum, China want to discuss whether other countries agree that many member states are responsible for resolving their debts together to save developing countries from poverty.
