Extra blogging - Criticizing of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation by Sujin Park

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation was established in November 1989 to increase economic cooperation in Asia and the Pacific region.
Currently, 21 countries, including Korea, Japan and China, are registered.

The APEC summit, which is a representative one, is the APEC Economic Leader's Meeting.
The goal is to create a free international trade order by keeping the EU and NAFTA in check.

It is positive in that the leaders of smaller Pacific countries provide an opportunity to meet with leaders of other countries.

However, it failed to meet the criteria for its existence as a national leisure even after 20 years since its inauguration.
It is also criticized for failing to reach consensus on the priorities of goals, such as promoting trade and economic and technological cooperation.
